Wife absolutely loved the spa even though overpriced. The experience on this cruise quite a bit worse than my 7 previous cruises.

Did not have a lot of alcohol choices. They said they were put of a lot of them because they didnt get restocked and that was at the opening of the shop on 1st day.

Room steward great. Never went to dining room and the bar service waiters most of the time were not existent. Used to always get called by name but seems like staff is more of a training crew and doesnt acknowledge you by name.

Go to the dining room for breakfast. Food was better than the lido buffet.
As soon as you get off the ship, you are hounded to buy things. A lot of shops now charge a 12% tax that they call added value tax. A lot of prices are quite a bit higher than the US. 1 12oz coors light is $5. The liquor stores very expensive. A lot of people trying to sell you Marijuana.
Island is beautiful. Beach is very rocky. Must wear water shoes. Lot of sea urchins close to shore. Decent snorkeling from shore. Rented a adult sanctuary cabana and no security and no way to lock it up. Had items stolen from cabana and carnival refunded 20% of cost which was less than items taken. Ships crew took all the towels out of the cabana at 230 even though we still had 1.5 hrs left. Found out no towels after snorkeling in front of cabana. Captain Jack was great with the drift fishing excursion.
Interesting how people can experience the same cruise so differently. The review just prior to this one for the exact same sailing gave most things 5 stars and said it was the best vacation they ever had.
