Review summary

I had been wanting to try a cruise for a long time and I choose Carnival thru a cruising web site. Since this was my first cruise ever, I just wanted to do a short cruise. Your ship definitely fit that bill. The ship is beautiful and we had a fantastic time.

Our dinning room experience by far exceeded our expectations. The buffet was a bit disappointing. We were excited to try the BBQ restaurant on Sunday. We got there about 1 p.m. and they served us ice cold mac and cheese and ice cold baked beans. They were literally scraping the bottom of the pan to fill our plates instead of bringing out a fresh pan with hot food in. Needless to say, we couldn't eat any of it.

Ship tip

I would advice to bring cash because neither of the machines worked. Don't forget your charger, there are no charges on the ship for electronic devices. Eat all meals in the dinning room.

It was pleasantly fast. I traveled with a friend who has been on many cruises; mostly Royal Carribean. She stated that your disembarkation and embarkation was much quicker and efficient than RC.
