Took our granddaughter on her first cruise as a graduation present. This Cruise fit the bill. Just enough to give her an experience. Overall, not bad. We all enjoyed it. Liberty could be upgraded though.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Since we did all the online check in, going through terminal was a breeze, one of our easiest
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Food was plentiful and very good. Buffet area was very spacious and spread out, lots of food selections. Dining rooms were very big, nicely decorated albeit somewhat outdated. Food, wait staff was very good.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Pools, small, crowded. A small water slide was a nice touch as well. Miniature Golf was nice as well.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Welcome aboard stage show was good, rock show was better, performers were Cruise quality. Comedy shows were really good especially Sean. Other shows including Love and Marriage (which my wife and I participated) drew large enthusiastic crowds.Lots of entertainment from morning to very late night. Cruise Director (NONO) was one of the best we have ever had..
Children's Programs
No children with us.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Wait staff was very good, nice and was very professional. Room steward did an ok job. Didn’t turn down bedding at night, and I had to request towels several times.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Ship is old. Outdated. Sometimes difficult to get around. Could not walk thru on many decks, had to walk down stairs, walk for a bit then back up to get to where we wanted to be. Sometimes very frustrating.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
For the 3 of us, it was nice size. Had an Oder to it when we arrived which was taken care of AND our sink and shower drain was clogged which was taken care of within a couple hours of notify housekeeping. Balcony was nice however I noticed a lot of rust on floor under the clear barrier. Also, only ONE accessible outlet, didn’t like that.
Ship tip
It’s smaller. Cozy is a word. OLD. The ship is OLD, and a lot of decor is outdated.
