The food was wonderful. The largest issue was a member of our party is a vegetarian, and there were limited options and often times the options seemed more limited to an assortment of sides then an actual meal.

Take the stairs! It may be a lot of up and down - but, it helps combat the calories!
This port was a bit hectic and a bit overwhelming with the crush of crowds. The constant street vendors also became annoying as the day wore on (a person can only say "no thank you" so many times!) The two excursions we did, not through Carnival, were both excellent and enjoyable.
The island was nice. We did the snorkeling excursion which was very well done and enjoyable. We did purchase our own snorkel gear, since the entire cleaning process for the snorkeling equipment seemed to only be a dip in a tub of fresh water (being a bit of a germaphobe that just wasn't enough in my opinion.)
