I was anxious to try the ship, made this our 4th cruise various ships. End of day one I could hardly wait to get off the ship. Was disgusted with everything, so much that the weather and ship turbulence didn't affect me. The sewer smell - sickening the entire time. Reported, someone removed vent unit from our bathroom and left on counter. I meant to take a photo. Which made no difference. I don't think it feel off as we would of found on the floor and we would had mentioned it to each other. I personally will not do carnival cruise again.

Steak house beautiful, food was wonderful well worth the extra cost. Main dining room, food Luke warm, staff RUDE. Waitress appeared rushed, no eye contact, seen her argue with another staff member. We asked for apple juice/tea for the grand dgts and a Pepsi/coke for myself and I qoute... It's a bar item you have to go to the bar. We paid for the beverage package, I asked for Reseling wine and they ALWAYS brought Moscato wine. Somehow every bar item we signed a sheet for a tip. 1 soda =tip, 1 Apple juice=tip, 1 tea=tip. Here's a good one. At buffet I asked for oatmeal as they served it to you, I was given HALF A SCOOP, I was give 2 bacon strips. I didn't dare ask for more as the male before me did request politely and he got bits shocking. Her asked for more grits and they seemed bothered lol

Omg! The ship smelled of SEWER the entire cruise. Ship old, dirty, rusty, couldn't see out windows from the water deposits. Yes it a vessel on the ocean...unkept! I watched one staff member clean the same rail for 20+ minutes. I timed him, I should of recorded him. I couldn't understand why therewas trash left on tables? But then I realized when I couldn't find a trash can. I had to take my empty cup to the dining room. Weird for sure.

SMALL!! OTHERWISE we only slept and showered there. Balcony SMALL I sat out there at night.
Ship tip
YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. CHEAP CRUISE, MY BIGGEST REGRET!!! This is a PARTY ship. If you want to drink, see a lot of butt, breasts loud obnoxious drunk high noisy shipmates this is for you 3-4 am banging on the doors, smelling cigarettes and skunk. Otherwise, if you're family oriented don't expose your kids.
Partly the problem was the time of year you went. Spring break time on a cruise less than 7 days, you're going to get some of what you experienced. We've been on many carnival cruises, we do a lot of research before we pick the one's we want. Hope you have better luck next time.
Maybe it’s just me, but I’m beginning to see a pattern with some reviews today..... The Liberty was my least favorite Carnival ship, but these reviews today are all pretty bad. I never had the drink package, so cannot relate. All I can say, is to do your review when Carnival asks you to via email.
Sounds like internal staff problems. Not good. If they aren't happy, why would they care if the guess are happy and taken care of.
