Review summary

I probably will not travel on Carnival again due to their gratuity is ridiculous they charge automatically every time you purchase a drink then separate fees for team members. Second their Cheers package is ridiculous you are forcing people who don't drink have to purchase package if someone else in your party purchases it so unreal. This was my second time traveling with Carnival I heard too many great things about other cruises on this cruise that I would rather try next year.

Many of the lines now require purchase of the drink package if one in the cabin is buying it. We cruise Royal Car and they do it. Gratuities are handled the same way on other lines too.

Although I do not cruise Carnival, I can tell you the gratuity policy is pretty standard across all lines.
