Review summary

Service was the best part of the cruise. The smell in the 2nd floor hallway made the trip very miserable due to headaches from it. Probably my least favorite vacation ever.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Main dining room was nice and food was good. Lots of options. Do not recommend late dining time, you miss shows. Buffet was ok, basically served alot of the same menu as the main dining so if you didn't like choices in the main you didn't have much different choices in the buffet. Buffet closes at 11 which v isn't convenient if you like late night snacking.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Adult only hot tubs closed by 11 which was a bummer.

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

Rust and peeling paint throughout the boat. Our floor (main-2) smelled musty/moldy as well as the room. Was given febreeze to try to cover it up. Woke up every day with a headache due to smell.

Cabin / Stateroom

1 out of 5
Cabin was nice size but smell of mold/mildew was bad. Only one outlet in the whole room.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

Port Canaveral is a nice city. Recommend visiting Kennedy Space Center

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

We did the kayak tour. Guided was nice. Couldn't really enjoy the kayaking due to another kayak getting stuck in the narrow passage through the mango trees and the guide had to keep stopping and getting them unstuck. Beach at the end was very narrow and small.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
We were off the ship quickly and eas very orderly manner

Despite endless warnings about what can and cannot be flushed down a vacuum toilet, many passengers just don't get it. They treat the toilet like a garbage disposal. Once it stops up, sewage and smells escape along corridors and into cabins until the engineers can correct the problem. On a large ship this typically occurs 20 or more times per day, all over the ship. A single toilet stoppage can have negative effects on as many as 60 additional cabins.
