Review summary

For my first cruise it sucked.! Lay out to get around was terrible. You walked around trying to get to the bars, diners,or anything else. Came across rude employees! Asked for help or directions I get the eye roll and point! Barely understood donkey voice from above due to speakersdidnt work. Food was good in diner but was rushed thru so the late shift to eat. I believe that a list of things times and prices would help instead of trying to understand people over phone. What's included and what's not in price of cruise. The most cheap part was the two tickets to ship other wise it was ridiculous priced. Would I do another?! Not with liberty. Photos omg way priced to high and no one to help find them. Just for 3 pictures was 68.00 bucks! Really!!

Apparently you are not cutout for cruising. You meet more friendly people on a cruise ship than you will most any other place you vacation

What in the world were you thinking. Spent the money and decided to not have fun. The Liberty and this class are simple, easy to navigate and a fan favorite. Best you stay on land.

Sounds like another case of someone NOT doing their research prior to their cruise! Lol. Most everything you complained about could have been resolved with a little research. Without that research, NO CRUISE will work for you. Having been on the Liberty twice, and her sister ship Valor twice, I can tell you they are about the most simple deck layouts there are. All costs, optional fees, deck layout, entertainment times, etc are all in detail on many web sites. Plus as a member of Shipmate, you have a plethera of information to help you. Also, you have your Daily Fun-Times paper every night delivered to your cabin to tell you what is going on the next day. So basically... your cruise is only as good as the research you put into it.

And pictures are pricey on ALL cruises. Take your own next time and have them printed.

I was on the Liberty last year... Donkey was great. I went to eat, drink and have fun. Got exactly that. Don't focus on the negative.

The speakers in the cabin often don't work due to passengers complaining about the interruption if they're sleeping after a big night out. The only surprise cost we have ever encountered on a cruise, is for bus tickets when being shuttled from the ship to a city, otherwise, we don't spend a cent extra while onboard. The photos ate with it for years to come, if you're had a great memory but next time, take your own. Cruising isn't for everyone however but maybe try one more before you fully make up your mind. We have personally been hooked from our first cruise. Each one simply gets better.
