Port Canaveral has it going on. Very organized, very little waiting. I can only compare it to Tampa which seemed quite the opposite. (But it could have been due to timing, etc.)

Ship tip

Get up early and get breakfast. It is a truly enjoyable to leisurely eat breakfast and watch the sun come up. About 7:30 it will get very, very busy. Also - don't waste your money on the photos. They are so overpriced and the Pixel people quite frankly are not very friendly or trustworthy. I bought a few pictures on the last night of the cruise and they tried to charge me for some of the same ones an hour later. Carnival credited the charge, but only because I scrutinized the bill. If I hadn't they would have gotten by with it. Also - scrutinize your bill.
