Review summary

My son had a blast! He enjoyed the water slides, games and the jacuzzi. Food was generally okay, staff were excellent, coffee too strong and Ice cream station seem to always ran out of cones. Bathroom did not drain well and there were no signs inside each bathroom saying "Employees must wash hands before returning to work" or something like that. I think that's pretty standard but I never saw any signs about this.

Embarkation

It was generally smooth but my son cried because they took away his plastic water squirter. We should have been informed that water toys are not allowed. Taking his water squirter/water toy really ruined his day.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
It was generally okay. However, the buffet lines don't have any directions as to where to start. The layout was a bit confusing.

Onboard Activities

I enjoyed my experience with the ship's spa and steam room. Staff were great especially Ms. Rechel Bulasa who was very polite, hospitable, and professional in dealing with my needs.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff were excellent! From our room steward, waitresses, and those cruise staff cleaning our meal tables and serving buffet. I would like to commend the following for making our stay worthwhile: Mr. Joseph Ballesteros, of the guest services department, who went above and beyond his duties to answer my questions and who went out of his way to give treats to my son and provided us with extra treats. Thank you Joseph for your exemplary service! The pool /deck attendants Genevieve and Miguel who were always hard at work making sure the swimming and deck areas were clean. Alan at the bar who made me an amazing glass of Pina Colada. Thank you! A room attendant named Lilian, who wasn't assigned to our room but she saved my trip. She went out of her way by giving me some of her personal hair conditioner as there were no hair conditioners provided in our room. Thank you Lilian for your sweet gesture. Hotel Stewardesses Jonalyn Genovia and Juna Mae Ilio for making sure our tables were always clean. Thank you girls for always serving with a smile! Our waiters Ardy, Bernardo and Bojan for their excellent service. Thank you guys for service and hard work!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Sports and game facilities should not be near the spa. Guests using the spa complained of noise coming these areas.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Bathroom didn't drain properly. I also requested for 2 double beds prior to my trip but we were given 1 twin bed and 1 sofa bed instead.

Ship tip

Bring an ID lanyard where you could put your room key. Having a necklace or a lanyard where you could hook your room key makes it way easier and convenient to use.
