Review summary

This is our first cruise, and we will be doing more. I would love to rebook on Liberty, and I also would like to check out some different ships in this line.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
We were moved quickly and orderly through the process. Before we knew it, we were on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

So much selection!!! Food was always good, and plentiful.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pools, Hot Tubs, Dine in Movies, Dance parties. So much to do and enjoy.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The comedy shows were great. The stage shows really draw you in. Very pleased with the entertainment

Children's Programs

No children under 17

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
You could not ask for better service. Everybody on board just wanted to make you happy.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
This ship was so clean. Not a stray paper or fingerprint to be found.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
There were 3 adults in this cabin, and it was plenty roomy. It was always impeccably cleaned and extremely comfortable.

Ship tip

Download the Carnival Hub. It is a great tool. There are some areas on deck 3 that you can't get to from mid-ship, so you need to be familiar with those.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5
We visited the Kennedy Space Center. Definitely a must see.

Nassau, Bahamas

We just walked around and did some shopping. Yes, there are a lot of locals who are trying to get you to spend money with them, but, just don't acknowledge them. Do not make eye contact. The Straw Market is a must (third row up from the street, look for Tia)

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
This was the most relaxing day. Some people were complaining because the Cheers packages doesn't work on this island, but I wasn't to concerned. We rented Clamshells and did some snorkeling and sunning. Nice selection of food was being prepared for us to enjoy.

Disembarkation

Best tip I can give is, when you are headed thru the customs checkpoint, use one of the Porters. You get to breeze right through. They get priority treatment and are waved ahead of everybody standing in line. You just have to show your Passport to the agent. It was worth the tip money to bypass all the hassle of the line and customs.

I agree with shingaling. Have been on the Glory and Liberty and loved them both. Try different ships, find what fits for you.

On carnival's website under "explore our ships" you can compare ship features side by side (up to 3 ships I believe). Might be a good starting place to check them out. The basic layout if the ships in this class are the same, as is the size.

Thank you. I am already planning our next cruise and I was trying to figure out the ships. You just made it a lot easier for me.

Liberty is in the Conquest Class of ships. If you liked her you will prob line her sister ships: Freedom, Valor, Conquest and Glory. They are our fav class of ships in carnival's fleet.
