Review summary

We had a great time! The weather was not great for half of the cruise but that is uncontrollable. Our kids loved it and so did we! Cookie the cruise director was amazing!

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Nerveracking as a family of 8 but we got thru rather quickly. Annoyed that we had to show documents multiple times as they were not scanned properly. We had purchased FTTF but had to wait on my husband who was returning a car . A bit chaotic as the ship coming in was debarking late.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was great. We ate far too much and everything was fabulous. The kids tried new things and we thoroughly enjoyed dining in the main dining rooms for dinner.

Silver Olympian Restaurant

5 out of 5

Our server Wayan was amazing. He remembered all our names and genuinely felt like part of our family! Everyone was fantastic and the food was awesome.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The weather put a damper on what could have been copious amounts of pool time. We enjoyed the comedy club although the shows were short. It was a tad cold and rainy so it was hard to enjoy the outside decks at times. The casino sucked. The payout was terrible. I played a lot and every machine would noy budge..not even a little.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
I loved the different performers. The shows were good.

Children's Programs

1 out of 5
My son had a great time in the kids program. It was sometimes confusing as to where they needed to be and dropoff for kid's dinner etc. But we figured it out and he had a blast. The staff were great.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward Anita was fantastic! She was genuine and kind and a great part of our trip. She did a great job with our room which was often a disaster with 3 kids and 2 teens. The waiters and additional staff we encountered were also very kind and accomodating.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The layout was confusing but that may be par for the course on a ship. This was our first family cruise and it was a 4 day so it seemed to take half of it to figure out where we were going.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
We had connecting rooms. They were decently sized and clean. We enjoyed having oceanview.

Ship tip

Make yourself familiar with the map prior to boarding.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

3 out of 5
Our experience was not great due to overcrowding and a serious traffic issue. This may have been due to debarkation of prior ship.

Nassau, Bahamas

We loved junkanoo beach. The walk was fine and you do have to say " no thank you" alot! The vendors were all kind even though they can be pushy. Just keep walking 🤗

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Beautiful! The beach is extremely rocky so water shoes are ideal.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It moved quickly.
