We really enjoyed our cruise from start to finishe and would highly recommend going with Carnival. We looked at a lot of ships but having sailed with Carnival before made us decide to go with them and we are glad we did. What you can expect is a cruise with lots of choices of activities, good food and a friendly staff. I could not have asked for a better cruise. N

The breakfast and the dinner's were exceptional. The lunches were pretty average. I loved the selections and quality of the food for breakfast and dinner. The service was exceptional.
Silver Olympian Restaurant

The Silver Olympian was top notch from start to finish. The servers were curtious and helpful and the food selection was great and prepared very well. Hats off for a job well done.

We enjoyed mostly the shows which were fun. They had a good variety for adults and children alike. The poolside activities were good as well. Cookie the cruise director deserves a special shot out as he kept things hopping. It seemed like he was everywhere.

My son liked the popcorn and the movies as well as the rock concert. He actually enjoyed most of the shows and of course the swimming.

It was a nicely laid out ship and mostly clean. The only area of concern was the bathroom which had an odor that never seemed to go away.

Ship tip
download the Ap if you are going. It keeps you informed of all of the activities and where things are. There are a lot of activities each day so plan your day to maximize your enjoyment,.
Port was nice, the excursion was ok (swimming with the dolphins). I expected a little more interaction with the dolphins but still nice. Getting back to the exact pickup point was challenging so allow yourself extra time. In front of the hotel they say but it was actually across the street pickup. Anyhow, the staff were helpful in finding it, but it took us an extra 20 minutes to find where where were to be picked up at exactly.
I am glad you had a good time. You mentioned an smell in the bathroom, here is a trick many cruisers don't seem to know, sometimes the water in the floor drain trap (not shower) evaporates or sloshed out with rocking of the ship, just pour water in it and it will fill the trap again and stop the smell. This commonly happens on ships, hopefully that will help if you ever run into it again.
