Review summary

This cruise was fairly economical and the lower level staff were very polite and accommodating. However, on the few occasions that I spoke with mid/upper management, they were dismissive and rude. The ship was nice, but it lacked the “fun atmosphere” that I have experienced with other cruise lines.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
This process went smoothly with plenty of staff to help expedite.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The food was mostly frozen and thawed at dinner. Room service was extremely slow and very limited.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
The fitness center was great.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Enjoyed the comedy show and the musical shows.

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Wait staff was good. Housekeeping wasn’t very attentive. And calling customer service was not good at all. They were not accommodating and definitely didn’t have a servan’t attitude. Somewhat snarky, in fact.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship’s design was fine and mostly clean. But there was a strange smell in the hallway outside of my room the entire trip.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
I liked our cabin. It was clean and spacious.

Ship tip

This is one of the more economical ways to go, although not a top tier option.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

1 out of 5
Old, cheap motels.

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
Confusing. The ship does not do a good job of explaining options other than paid excursions.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Well done. Clear. Quick. Friendly.
