Review summary

I'm from Puerto Rico my flight was cancel because of hurricane Maria I wasn't able to make it and carnival charge me insane amount of cancelation fee , I requested cruise credit and they refuse I think it's not fair that I got 2 cabin and both where charge 414 dollars cancelation fee I really think is not right because we screw by hurricane Maria and by carnival too

insurance is the way to go, this is hurricane season. You put yourself at risk by not having insurance. I feel sorry for Puerto Rico and the other islands, but it's no fair to waive the cost to ones who didn't get insurance, and the ones who had insurance. I feel bad that you had to pay something, but fair is fair.

It's not carnivals fault that the airline canceled your flight OR that there was a hurricane.

Yep the hole thing was a bit of a mess changing cruise ports and locations but yep you really should have insurance then you want be out of pocket ..
