Review summary

I did this cruise for my son and his fiancé 40th birthday, and they had a very memorable time. It was a very nice family time, and our own time. Now they want to do this for Christmas. You cannot beat cruising, everything is right there for you, your only decision is what you want to do and what you want to eat.

Embarkation

The lines went smoothly the staff was courteous and sufficient

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was very good and the wait staff was very friendly, attentive and entertaining. They made my son's birthday celebration complete with a small cake and singing him happy birthday.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I enjoyed the fact that there was an adult only pool, and the sea day activities were entertaining, and the movie theater outside was a nice addition.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The comedians were very good and entertaining a lot of laughs, the music throughout the ship was nice to listen to and dance

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our waiters Alberto, Johnny and Jhon were very attentive, personable and professional. They made our dining experience very enjoyable. All the staff on the ship was very polite, and friendly.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was very clean when you consider the amount of people on the ship, and if there was a spill they were quick to clean it up.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had never done an interior room before, but now that we have I loved the fact that they stay dark, was great at night for sleeping. The room was clean and more spacious than I thought it would be. I loved the pillows, wish I could buy them.

Ship tip

I think cruising is the way to go. It is like a floating hotel. The food is excellent and the fact so many choices either sit down or buffet, pizza, burgers. Our only problem was figuring out where we were, by the time we figured where everything was and how to get there, time to get off, lol. There are maps by every elevator though to help you.

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida Did not visit port

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
We have been to Nassau before and did the tour and Atlantis, but we got off to show the kids the straw market, and we went into a few shops. I know this is their livelihood, but as soon as you get off the ship and in the market, they do not leave you alone. We lasted couple hours and went back to ship.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Alberto our waiter had told us to go to the dining room for breakfast and it would not be as crowded and it was a very peaceful enjoyable experience and by the time we were done we only waited about 15 min in the casino and time to get off and it went smoothly.
