Review summary
We really enjoyed the cruise on the Carnival Liberty. We had a balcony room and the size of the room was larger than we expected. We did faster to the fun, and we were on the ship by 11:15am. We carried on our roll on and backpack and was able to put away our things before noon and ready to explore.
We also got the Cheers package, but I don't think we will get it next time. The price was $49.95 per day or $149.85 for the 3 day cruise and the drinks I had were $8.95 each. I had a total of 15 drinks over the 3 day cruise, so I didn't break even. The drink prices are the same whether you have the package or not. Your just pre-paying for 17 drinks. I will just have it added to Sign and Sail card next time.
We did the British Colonial Hilton for $65 for the day pass per person. The beach was nice and this included a $40 credit for food and drink per person. We were going to do Junkanoo beach and went there first, but we did see one piece of broken glass on the beach, so we decided on the Hilton.
We enjoyed the cruise so much that we have already booked another cruise on the Liberty in late August. We didn't have any issues or problems at all with the cruise and it was very enjoyable.

Ship tip
On embarkation day, I would recommend eating before the lunch hour if possible or after 1pm. The lines were not too bad, but it was hard to find a place to sit in the eating areas because people are sitting waiting for their cabins to be ready. After 1pm most people are unpacking in their cabins.
