Carnival Liberty Cruise Review to Caribbean - Western
Sail Date: September 11, 2010
Ship: Carnival Liberty
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Family (older children)

Review SummaryThe Carnival Liberty was okay but we were definitely spoiled having taken 2 previous sailings with Royal Carribean. The difference in pricing was very evident. Attention to detail, especially in the dining area, was lacking. There were areas that were not consistently open which detracted negatively on the overall appearance within the dining area. On our balcony, there was room for 2 chairs. However, in the corner was 2 additional chairs and a table stacked out on our balcony which made it difficult to get out to the balcony. And there was more room on the Royal Carribean vessels in their balcony areas.

Pros: Cabin was very nice. Shower and bathrrom was best seen to date.
Cons: Would appreciate more open lines in the buffet. Scrambled eggs were watery. Sometimes the bacon was well done but most of time was close to raw. The blue cabin towels were really nice except if you took and used them in the swimming area and didn't bring them back to cabin, you would be charged
