Wonderful Vacation - Carnival Liberty

Sail Date: September 11, 2010

Reviewed: 6 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

We traveled on the Carnival Liberty on 9/11 - 9/18/10 to Mexico, Grand Cayman and Jamaica. This was a our first time with Carnival and we absolutely loved it. There is so much to do you can have your day booked or you can choose to just sit back and relax! The staff on the ship are amazing. All of them were so polite and went out of their way to deliver the best customer service. We felt as we were on a floating 5 star resort. We can't wait to go on our next Carnival cruise!

Pros: So much to do on the ship and off!

Recommends Carnival Liberty? Yes!

Ship Quality
The Liberty was always kept clean and was beautiful.
Food and Dining
Had a lot of food to choose from. When I didn't like a dish I ordered in the Silver Olympian dining room, our waiter went out of his way to find something I did like.
Cabin / Stateroom
We had an inside room, but found that it was just enough room. Housekeeping staff were amazing. They clean the room twice a day.
Service and Staff
BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Every staff member made sure that you were satisfied.
Lot's of activities. Towards the end of the cruise we did get sick of hearing our cruise Activitiy Director over the PA system, this is what the schedule is for.
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Jamaica was amazing. We choose the "Dunn's River Falls & Bamboo Beach Party" - this is a must do. The falls were so much fun and amazing! Then they take you to a private beach with reggae music and Jamacian food, with endless Red Stripe beer and Rum Punch. Beautiful white sandy beach with clear ocean!
Don't Miss: Carnival's "Dunn's River Fall and Bamboo Beach Party"
Cozumel, Mexico
Mexico was fantastic! We were in port from 8:30am-10:00pm, leaving a lot of time to explore. You must do the "Deluxe Sail, Snorkel and Beach." Staff was AMAZING and we had a blast on the boat, endless margaritas and beer. Snorkeling wasn't the most beautiful, but the private beach they take you too is well worth it.
Don't Miss: Carnival's "Deluxe Sail, Snorkel and Beach Party!"
George Town, Grand Cayman
We were not impressed on Grand Cayman. We choose the "7 Mile Beach Break" excursion, DO NOT DO. They take you to a public beach that was infested with ants. We paid $5 to take a cab back to the dock.
