We enjoyed the cruise. Many times, you will see a bad review and one common thread - bad weather. We had good weather - rained only once. The only hiccup was the Caymans stop, water way to choppy for some excursions and we had to dock a bit away and take taxi's to downtown Georgetown - which was no problem. More so, the stops are great, the ship is nice (decor is a bit dated), and for the most part in good shape.

Food and Dining

I went pretty on on the food and here is why. I take into consideration the sheer volumes of folks they are trying to feed\, and not only that\, the type of folks. I mean\, there were people in the Grill line for a burger as they enjoyed thier pizza (and who says americans are fat???) Anyway\, I digress\, the food was good\, and decent selection. We only ate in the main dining room twice\, but everything we had was good. Again\, take the good with the bad\, some things were can be made in large volumes and kept in warmer bins\, and there are some dishes\, that just are not meant to be made like that. Overall\, we were very pleased.
Entertainment

We enjoyed the comedy shows and even found ourselves watch the Live Karaoke (sp). Not even big karaoke fans\, but really enjoyed this live version. We also enjoyed the acoustic guitar (Juan) in the lobbby bar\, very entertaining. Casino was large\, and fun\, but with many older smokers\, it smelled like stale smokey butt by the slot machines. :) Stick with the table games.
Service and Staff

We found most of the staff very helpful. Naturally we made quick friends with the bartenders\, so that is always helpful. Read a review where their drinks were weak. Well\, your attitude and tipping was probably weak so what can you expect. Now\, should you have to tip to get what you paid for\, NO\, absolutely not\, but greasing the wheel just a bit goes a long way\, its just the way of the world.

Made this average\, as I am usually not real picky\, but I do think its time for a quick update to the ship. Overall though\, i really enjoyed the layout of this ship. I have been on several other ships (Carnival and others) and I really enjoyed the layout of this one. Otherwise\, it was decently clean and overall comfortable.
Cabin / Stateroom

I enjoyed our stateroom. Our attendants were very prompt and friendly so i think that helped. Yes\, the tv is old tube style\, if you are booking this cruise to watch tv\, do us all a favor\, save your money\, stay home and enjoy your 60 LCD. Yes\, the beds are nothing i would by to use at home\, but they were comfy and we got plenty of sleep. In short\, the rooms were clean and comfortable\, what else do you need. We got a balcony which is nice\, as it gives the impression that the room is that much bigger.
