Review summary

Love cruising!!! Time time in the sun on this western cruise was great -- no rain - weather was bearable. I love the anytime dining and the opportunity to meet new people every day --some you like and others you are glad it was just a meal. The Legend - was beautiful - very clean great crew -- I never felt there was 2500 other people on board -- always plenty of space and places to go on board. The Serenity deck was a favorite of LOTS -- so unless you were there really early--and Saved a place (which I thought was wrong) --you never got to enjoy that area. But made do with other places.

Food and Dining

The dining room was great -- any time eating was great -- eating with different people each meal great. The Steak House- really good -just took 2 almost 3 hours to get through the meal. I was frustrated that there wasn't much available in the evening hours or when it wasn't meal time.

Entertainment

Entertainment was except able -- would have been nice if one of the shows had a story line -- rather then just songs of different eras each night. activities -we did two excursions -bought through the cruise lines --over priced but good tours. When we did our own thing- much cheaper and got the same of what others paid for more then half price. Debarking -- instructions great --and easy to get off - not long waits at all.

Large ship --plenty of room for everyone -- being on deck 1 was the best - close to all the important places without having to wait on elevators.

Great room and placement!!! Would definitely get this floor and type again.

Pros: Seeing places -yet unpacking only oncve --the advantage of cruising

Cons: In Port -- all the "cruise line" shopping areas -- not local enough -- too gimmicky

Recommends Carnival Legend? Yes!
