Review summary

This was an inexpensive cruise so I feel we got our money's worth. We didn't go on here expecting anything awesome and that's what we got. Food was the worst on any cruise we've been on. 3 nights were great - the other 4 nights were good enough to eat and get full but nothing to be excited about. Two ports were good, one was ok, and one should be dropped (Belize). Service was decent but definitely not up to par with other ships.

Food and Dining

Always had a line (over 30 mins one night) to get seated at the Your Time Dining option, which has never happened before. Three nights of great food - four nights of decent food. No 'obscure' choices which is always fun to try on other ships. All appetizers needed work.

Entertainment

Sticking with Carnival tradition,Bingo never started on time which pushed all other activities after it.

Service and Staff

Great room staff. However, the wait staff needed some work. If you bought the soda card for the week, and that's all you wanted to drink, good luck finding someone to bring you one at dinner or around the pool, etc. And if you only wanted a soda, they were very pushy at asking if you wanted to add Jack Daniels or Rum to it.

Ship Quality

Decor was outdated in dining room (mauve). I thought it was also odd that the Grecian theme in the elevators included naked artful pictures with so many kids on the ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

For some reason, stateroom seemed smaller than in the past overall. However, definitely had more closet/storage space than on any other ship before.
