Review summary

The balcony room was fantastic. The room stewards did a great job keeping the room in perfect condition. The service was spotty in the dining room. Some servers came over as non-interested in helping, but other servers did an outstanding job (I have cruised with Royal Caribbean previously, the servers were more consistent, however the good servers on Carnival were better than the average Royal Caribbean server). The ship was very nice. I had cruised on the Freedom of the Seas which was the largest ship at the time, so the Legend seemed not as grand, but the ship was still very nice. The pools were sufficient, but small for the days at sea (like any other ship). The water slide was a great feature too. Boarding and disembarking was the easiest of my 4 cruises.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Very good in the dining room. OK at the buffet

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The Jazz show was terrible and was definitely not for the age group on the ship. The hypnotist and comedian were very good.

Spotty. Some below average and some far above average. The hostess did and great job meeting any special needs.
