Review summary
Overall I had a very good time on the inspiration. The staff is amazing, 90% of the people that we came in contact with regularly were very friendly and made our trip more fun. The cruise director Ryan Rose is hilarious and you can tell that he loves his job, I suggest going to anything that he is hosting especially that 80s party. The food is okay the buffet is not worth waiting in line, Guys Burger and the Blue Iguana were delicious and I would suggest trying everything on their menus. The breakfast buffet is so basic I suggest going to the Mardi Gras dining room and ordering from there. Room service is very basic for the free items, but the pizza that they charge you for is not worth the $5. The Pizza Pirate was good and the ice cream was probably my favorite. The rare finds in the dining room for dinner are very weird and made my stomach hurt, but the duck potstickers were by far the best thing that I had. Also the sushi boat is worth the additional $18. The comedy shows are hilarious oh, I suggest get there as early as possible because they do fill up the seating especially if you were in a large group. If you plan on getting at least three cocktails a day I highly suggest a drink package, you will drink more than you intended and you will thank me.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
The food was ok. The rare finds (alligator, rabbit, frog legs) gave us all stomach problems. Room service pizza was not good. Pizza pirate is pretty good. Guys burger and blue iguana are delicious!! The breakfast buffet was basic, it's better to go to Mardi gras for breakfast. The main dining room for dinner is where it's at.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We did not go to the gym or play pool but they were always packed. I did enjoy the life-size chess
Entertainment
5 out of 5
There were tons of shows and group activities to do on board. I for one really enjoyed the trivia, and the Mixology competition. The comedy shows are by far the best the adult ones. The dance clubs were fun it gets really crazy after the comedy clubs, the music on board was very diverse and there was something for everybody. I did enjoy the waitstaff show during dinner in the dining room. D Rock and glow 80s party was amazing, and the cruise director Ryan Rose sure does know how to have a good time.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
There room Steward and the ship's staff we're all amazing, and some of the regular bartenders were lots of fun. Everyone was very nice, accommodating, and respectful.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
The ship was clean for the most part, tables for always cleared immediately after people left whether it was the dining room or the deck. There was never any mess on the floors that they were always swept and mopped counters were cleaned and bars were cleaned. The only thing that I did not like where the public restrooms with throughout the ship, some of the women's bathrooms toilets didn't flush and there were usually things in the toilet.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Our cabin steward Roel is so nice and our room was always clean when we got back. The outlet in tbe bathroom sucks but there was plenty of drawer and closet space with 1 large checked bag, 2 carry on, and 2 personal bags.
Ship tip
I suggest getting the drink package especially if you plan on drinking throughout the whole Cruise. We ran up $1,000 and drinks for the four days. It is easier to hit that 15-minute limit then you think. Also I suggest not going into Ensenada because you are followed by anyone and anything trying to sell you crap.
Long Beach is beautiful. I suggest staying at the Maya Hotel which is close to the port. You can see your cruise ship parked overnight, and the hotel offers a free shuttle to Port which is only 2 minutes.
The disembarkation process was very smooth and simple. We did the express which is we carried off our own luggage and they called us deck-by-deck. The staff were dressed up in costumes as they helped us off the ship it, and the Customs was super quick and easy to get through.
You recommend not going to town in Ensenada? Good grief. There are some very interesting things to do, and we’ve met some really good people there. We shop, and eat, and speak with local people who are very good folks. There are gardens and places of culture to visit. We met a gentleman who does spray can paintings. I agree that there are some aggressive sales folks there, but it doesn’t make the whole town not worth visiting. I highly recommend going into town.
