Review summary
My cruise day was suppose to leave 7/16/15.... My husband was terminated after being employed over 24 years same company.
On May29,2015..... I wanted to go on this cruise badly my birthday is 7/23 sooooo all was going great until we realize its not easy to find employment. We wanted to enjoy the cruise with a few drinks and extra activities in ENSENADA. Baja California. I didnt buy insurance which makes matters worse so i only recieved 25% of what i paid,,,,,,the reps were nice cancelled our cruise hopefully we can plan a cruise in the near future,,, :(

So sorry to hear Madeline!! There's nothing worse than having that built-up anticipation as the cruise date approaches just to have it dashed by having to cancel due to unplanned circumstances (been there, done that). We always have booked with insurance and thankfully had to use it only once but got 100% refund. Keep in mind, many cruise agencies offer no (or greatly reduced) deposits on cruises so you can actually book a cruise like we usually do, a year out with no money down, pay it off over time and have minimal impact on your cruise finances with final payment being due 70 - 90 days prior to sail date. I hope this info helps for your future plans and hope that things take a 180 degree turn in your favor in the future. Hope to see you onboard someday . :)

How unfortunately that you had to cancel your cruise. I hope that your husband will find a job soon and that someday you will be able to take this cruise. Thinking of you both as I read your review and hoping that you have sunnier days ahead of you.
