Review summary

We had a nice time. I have gone on the exact cruise at the same time the year before. I found myself saying, last year they did this... or that. The entertainment staff was disappointing. They seemed lost and in a hurry to be done and out of there. The main shows were great, but everything else seemed blah. There was very little interaction with the guests.

The food was just ok. I’ve been on Carnival before, so knew what to expect. This was below my expectations.

The two main shows were very good, as well as the comedians. The two people in charge of the games had zero energy. They did nothing to get people fired up for the trivia and games, which is my favorite part. The never even introduced themselves.

The waiters were very friendly. The dining room chef Eduardo was a delight. Our cabin was cleaned and turned down nicely each day. However, if you put two people in front of me, I couldn’t tell you which one was our room steward. We never ever saw her.

It was a fun and relaxing time. I felt like the entertainment crew was new to the ship. They were a bit lackluster and were not seen out and about at all.
