Review summary

Overall, we had a great time aboard the Imagination. Our two kids (8 and 9 years old) enjoyed the Kids Club options as well as the whole boat entertainment. The only part that was not exceptional was the food. It was certainly edible and I did enjoy not preparing or cleaning up, but we're used to eating higher quality food.

Embarkation

I was amazed at how seamless the process was. We didn't wait in one line from the time we parked to being on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Guy's Burgers was the best food on the ship. We ate there a lot. The Blue Iguana Taco place also had great breakfast burritos. Sadly, we were underwhelmed by the rest of the options. Here are some details to consider addressing: The chicken caesar salad from the pizza joint had about a teaspoon of chopped chicken on it and the pizza was bland. The service in the dining room was great, but the food was just okay (except for the beef).

Service and Staff

Kyle (our cruise director) was fun and approachable. I wonder when the guy slept; he seemed to be in all places at the same time. Ethel ( in the dining room) was cheerful and adored out children as much as they adored her. Wayan took good care of our cabin.
