Review summary
This is definitely a party cruise. The "Cheers" package costs just under $200 per person (plus tax of about $0.87 per drink), and, although some passengers definitely took advantage of it, it really did not seem worth it for us. 75% of people on the boat were wearing motion sickness patches and everyone in my group complained about how choppy the water was. You can really feel the movement, especially in the dining room. Overall, if you want a rowdy time and to spend a day in Ensenada, you can't beat the value, but you shouldn't expect to relax too much on board. Also remember to bring warm clothes. It is almost always cold when you are outside on the boat.

Playing devils advocate, I wear a patch for cruising and this is an item I can only get with a prescription and if I see 75 percent of the ship wearing them, I'm going to reason that they want to cruise no matter what condition the waters are.
The ships master has absolutely no control of the seas.
