Review summary

The Imagination is an older ship and it is showing its age. Very few balconies available. Would have preferreed having one especially on crowded cruising days. Personnel excellent, food adequate, two outstanding shows. On days of excursions, dining rooms should be prepared to serve guests when they arrive. It was difficult to wait until 9PM because we missed our 6PM time. Turned away from both dining rooms. A frustrating experience. Embarkation process needs some work. Because this was only a five day cruise, all was acceptable for such a short period of time.

Pros: Wonderful server in the dining room. The two shows were outstanding. Courteous employees throughout ship.

Cons: Deembarkation process. Inability to access a dining room at 7pm when an excursion lasted until 6PM. Not a real " dine at your leisure experience". Turned away from both dining rooms until 9PM. Lay out of ship. Difficult to navigate. Not enough lounge chairs on cruising days.

Recommends Carnival Imagination? No.
