Had a great time but I think we are going to start cruising someone other then Carnival.
Embarkation

Embarkation was easy and fast. Our arrival time was 10:00 to 10:30 and we were on board by 10:45. Only thing I didn't like was Carnival did not offer boarding pictures, so not sure what happened there. Of all the cruises we have taken with them, this was the first time they did not offer boarding pictures.

Food and Dining

Nothing special to say here, we don't cruise because of the food. I will say that we ate breakfast on lido most mornings and I did notice that the line for the omelet station didn't seem to get as long as on other ships we have been on. I was disappointed that Carnival did not say something to an individual that was wearing shorts and going barefoot in the MDR one night even after it was brought to their attention.
Onboard Activities

We loved the Havana area, it was fairly quiet and never a lot of people.
Entertainment

CD Cookie was entertaining. We only attended one show because we always find the music louder then we like in addition to music we don't care for. The Karaoke contest was funny, but they only selected 6 out of about 20 people that actually entered. My wife was selected to be a contestant on the game show Deal or No Deal, so that made her cruise even though she didn't walk away with a lot of prize money.
Children's Programs

Our 15 year old said he enjoyed the activities in Club O2, they kept him busy most nights til 1am.
Service and Staff

Our wait staff in the MDR was great. Our room stewart as just as great. Only issue I have in the MDR was I like to get "the shot of the day" when they bring those around and they only brought them around 1 night on this 6 night cruise.
Ship Quality

I think the ship was at 100% and if it wasn't then it was pretty close. One thing I noticed while walking down the hallways is that I didn't see a lot of room service dishes cluttering things up. So the staff was either keeping that stuff picked up or maybe people were not ordering room service like before. I like to think the staff was keeping things cleaned up.
We did side by side razors here and we were very disappointed. The equipment was not kept up and was unsafe to operate. We told carnival what we thought of the excursion and they gave us a 15% rebate which we felt was no where near enough. We have dome several Carnival excursions over they years and this was the only one where we have felt was unsafe.
