Just completed a back to back on the Horizon and had a incredible experience! Such a wonderful ship and amazing crew. The staff were attentive, professional and all very nice. We booked a Havana Cabana, and of course glad we did! Our room steward was amazing and room spotless and I am extremely picky! Like I will wipe down everything lol!! The Havana area is of course beautiful and very private! No deck chair problems 😊 and just to confirm Carnival will clean your cabin twice a day or once whatever you prefer! We picked once in the morning our room steward Ian basically cleaned it twice a day! Speciality restaurants were awesome the new Teppinyaki was fantastic excellent chefs! I would highly recommend! For the people that complain about buffet food, I’m just not sure what they want? The food options are always plentiful with a variety of options. Chicken, pork, beef, pasta, rice, potato, vegetables, soup, fish the list is endless!! Go to a buffet on a land vacation and see if there is more options! I don’t think so! The dining room staff were excellent knew are names immediately and what we wanted for wine etc! The food in the MDR was good to very good! And I have Crohn’s disease. The ship was spotless the staff honestly never quits cleaning, it was impressive! There is the normal complainers kind of funny though!! Not really valid comments just like to hear themselves I think 🤔 Tons of activities on the Horizon, you can’t do everything in a weeks cruise glad we did two! The back to back was seamless so I’m not sure what the review before was complaining about? As we had no issues! In fact this cruise was so easy and everything just went perfect from beginning to end, we didn’t want to leave! Pools are smaller but remember we are on a ship not land based resort! To get back to the dining room staff it was great, food was always hot and came out efficiently! Some things we liked better than others but was always good! the playlist productions were quite good went to all of the shows! The violinists were excellent! Also for people that complain about the smoking in the casino please remember that you do not have to go through the casino to get through the ship!! The new elevators were incredibly smart it’s the people trying to use them that aren’t! I could go on further but this review is too long already! Just be assured that the Horizon is a beautiful ship! Kept incredibly clean! Staff amazing! Food great! And a ton of activities!! Did the sky ride twice it’s always fun!! Enjoy 😉
