A nice clean new ship. But were going back to the older ones for more activities and better service . Would not recommend necessarily.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Buffet had least amount of choices of my last 5 cruises. MDR was least fav of last 5 cruises, slow service, confusion where to seat with My Dining Appt, walls that segregated the MDR and made it hard to see their dinner show nightly and kept it darker than usual. Foos selection was good but not impressive as some ships. Temps were good.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
In 6 days never found the fitness center. Pools were crowded. Getting a chair was a chore as they had plenty of space for more but were often stacked up and tied together? Sky ride was fun and free. Water slides were fun. 4D movie theater is lots of fun for $5.50 with lots of choices.
Entertainment

Never seen a Carnival cruise that only had comedians and main shows every other night instead of nightly!!?? This led to overcrowding at both. Opening night show Soulbound, thought would be musical 60,s/70,s, but was a scary music show ala Thriller. Weird choice for opening night!! That said the singers were the best of the 5 past ships .
Service and Staff

Room service does not know how to knock!!! They are so quiet its embarrassing!! We were standing in the room and weren't sure if someone was at the door! # times missed our morning coffee because we didn't hear them and we were up!!!
Ship Quality

Beautiful ship, tastefully decorated. Best of our past 5 ships! rooms were nice as were hallways , only the MDR was less than awesome.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
excellent except if you're on the balcony, doors close hard and you can't hear if someones at the door and you constantly hear all the other balcony doors slamming shut with new closers. We were above the Pig& Anchor which blasts Country music until 11pm nightly, not good.Room was spacious.
Ship tip
Get to all shows at least 45 min early or you wont get in.
