Review summary

The cruise was very relaxing! We had a large group for a wedding and due to the hurricanes we changed from Eastern to Western Caribbean. I'm glad Carnival looks at safety first but was still a little disappointed that we did not get to stop at Half Moon Cay. This was were the wedding was to be and we booked the private cabana for the day. We had been there before, so beautiful! All out ports were great, we had a couple little babies with us, so the beach was about all you could do. The wedding was in Cozumel, it was beautiful! Thanks Carnival for going above and beyond for our sons wedding! We had several people on board for their first time cruising, they had a really good time and I think they will cruise again. I love to cruise and could have stayed on for longer!

The buffet food was okay. The dining room food was good and the service was great. However when going to the speciality kids breakfast they changed the time and didn't tell anyone. The service was slow. Guys burger place and the Mexican was awesome! Dined at the Steakhouse on 2 separate occasions and it was very good and the service was excellent.

The ship was easy to get around on, it was laid out like another ship were had been on. The ship was very clean, you always say people cleaning all the time.

Cabin / Stateroom

We had a balcony room, the size is okay. Our cabin steward keep the room very clean. As for comfort, it was okay could of used some better pillows.

Ship tip

If you are traveling with small children, there isn't a baby pool and they will not allow children who are not potty trained in the pools or on the kids slides. Also they have to be 2 for the kids club so sea days can be rather long and boring for them.
