Review summary

I have traveled on several Carnival Cruises and this by far was the worst.  The food on Lido Deck was often cold and had no variety.  The only good thing to eat was Guy's Burgers.  The service was terrible and the steward on our deck was awful. The ship TV often had only 2 channels to watch other than the carnival channels. The seminars on the cruise were terrible.  Even the Fun Shops which often have great sales were not available.  The excursions were so high priced that we could not afford to take any of them.  Carnival should have a list of the sights to see in each port so that guests can make decisions on what to see in each port.

Lol. Glory was my first cruise and I liked it. Just got off the Norwegian Getaway yesterday. The food was definetly better on the Getaway by FAR. I liked the casino better on the Glory. You gotta figure the Glory is older than the Getaway so it's not as modern but I had fun on both ships.

Research goes a long way. From food options to shore excursions, you can see availability and prices BEFORE you book and cruise.

I was on Glory in May and had more than 2 channels. Also had TNT, TBS,CNN, and regular CBS, NBC etc. As far as excursions yes if you book through Carnival they can get expensive but why should they give you other options if they want you to book through them?! In the future do your own research if you can't afford carnival excursions prior to cruising.

"The ship tv often had only 2 channels to watch". Yes, I' m cruising and I spend my time watching tv...please. From Rome to Miami just to stay on a Carnival, that's what I'll do next november.

And if you do your homework before you go, you can find a million things to do at port!! Carnival is not your baby sitter!!!

I thought you said you've been on several carnival cruises! This will be our 4th carnival cruise and one on princess. Most of the stuff you're whining about are consistent with every cruise. There are never many channels on the ship! If you need to watch tv, stay home! Who goes on a cruise to watch tv anyway?

You can easily look up what to do in every port online. TripAdvisor, cruise boards, plenty of places.
