Review summary

Although the impending hurricane forced us to take another direction with stops we had already visited we were delighted to simply relax and enjoy the activities on the ship. The food was excellent, the crew helpful and entertaining and the onboard activities were exceptional.

So glad to hear you had a wonderful time.  It sounds like you took a play from the don't-worry-be-happy play book and had a great vacation despite a bump or two.

Happy sails!

I love the great attitudes here. Hope we have people like you on our cruises in Feb. We are taking a back to back cruise on the Carnival glory in February for our last cruises for retiring. We are doing a seven day western and then a seven day eastern. We've done both before but it's 14 days of bliss and it doesn't matter where we land

I agree! We were disappointed in the change but very grateful that we had beautiful sunny weather and smooth seas!!! We totally enjoyed the cruise, loved Mike and our waitstaff... Putu, Wilfredo and Agung. Thank you Carnival for a wonderful vacation!

The job of the ship's captain is to get your safely through your cruise.  Mother nature dictates the condition of the seas.  It is disappointing to have a change in itinerary, I know, but the important thing is that all the passengers and crew were safe.

I really enjoyed reading your upbeat review.  I wish the others could relax and go with the flow as you did when the unexpected happens.

That's what cruising is all about. let the Captain do the driving and just sit back and relax. I hope I have people like you, positive and appreciative, on my March 12th cruise on the gliry.

Great review,   glad you rolled with the punches and enjoyed your vacation.  Thats the way a cruise should be.

Me and the other 5 ppl I vacationed with was not happy with the change either but we made the best of it! Mike was the best cruise director ever! We had been to the same ports less than 5 months ago but they did make the ship very enjoyable!

Good positive review!! Many replies of cruises during the storm aimed at blaming the cruise line for the itinerary changes. Glad you took it in stride and enjoyed yourself!! This is a perfect example of how a cruise veteran handles change.
