Review summary

This was our first cruise and it won't be our last. The Carnival cruise line ended up being a great choice. It seemed like there was something for everyone. There was lots of helpful information printed and delivered every night to help navigate the ship and it's activities. The cruise length of 7 days was perfect.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The dining options were great. We choice anytime dining so that we could have a flexible eating time. We ate mostly in the main dining room and it was nice when by the end of the trip the maitre de could remember or name and state room. The food there was great. It was nice to have the buffet option on the lido deck as well as 24 hour pizza and soft serve everywhere.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
There was always the option of something to do. We had 2 days a sea which was plenty of time. We saw 2 comedy shows. Those did fill up quickly so make sure to get in line early if they have a good headliner as there is a maximum capacity.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was down to earth and nice.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Carnival Glory isn't the newest ship but even though it was a little dated\, it was still classy\, and fun\, and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We loved our state room. After a lot research I chose an aft balcony on the 7th floor and it was wonderful. It was private\, quiet\, and the balcony was extended and a great feature. Our attendant was very polite and left cute towel animal everynight. We didn't need a lot of hand-holding and he respected our privacy.

Pros: Great ports

Cons: Nothing
