Review summary

Carnival Glory was clean, with good service & friendly staff. We did not appreciate smoking allowed throughout the ship. There were no smoking signs on the bar by the casino, but yet ash trays were provided by the bartenders for smokers. Very disappointing! We liked being able to sail from Norfolk which is close to home.

The food in the dining room the first couple nights was not very good. The quality of the food in the Red Sail buffet was not great. The Deli and hamburger bar were very good. We didn't like the fact that to get \"fine dining\"\, required an extra fee in the Steakhouse\, so we did not participate.

Stateroom was excellent. Fantastic view and convenient to activities and food service on Lido deck. The room needed dusting.

Pros: Playing with our friends.

Cons: The food on the buffet.

Recommends Carnival Glory? Yes!
