I Never was able to get in the pool. There was soo many young people and they took over. I suggest there be a time for them and us(older adults, I'm 46). Only the hot tube was my experience. So disappointed. Horribly bad.

The bed was a king. They kept separating which made it uncomfortable. Nice room, refrigerator didn't work. Had to get a new one. Shower head popped off. Had to be fixed. It wasn't the best experience but it wasn't horribly bad either.

Ship tip

Find a ship that's not so kid friendly. Or have patience because they're noisy, rowdy young people.

Sorry about the negatives. You will get a better experience not in sch vaca times. I, too, have been on many cruies where I never got in the pool for people. When I got in Hot tubs they were cold. I have been on alot of cruises and this year, Off school season in April, went Celebrity Reflection 9 days. It was first time...in the Adult only area, we got into a Hot hot tub and could go comfortably into the adult pool. It was wonderful! Went in Several times! Almost NO Kids.

Research your cruise lines. Both Carnival and Royal will have a lot of families sailing. If a chill experience is what you want, choose another line. Princess, Celebrity, etc..
