Review summary

Overall I had a great time on the cruise while onboard the Freedom. The food, drinks and entertainment was great!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
I felt like the embarkation process was quite smooth.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
I thought the food was excellent, great variety of food offerings, both in the dining rooms and the buffet. I did not partake in any specialty restaurants during my cruise.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I laid out in the adult only area near the pool, which was really nice. I did not go into the pool, fitness centers, etc.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We really enjoyed the entertainment provided, the trivia sessions, the comedy lounge, the evening shows, were all excellent!

Children's Programs

I have no children, did not travel with any children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward I Wayan was amazing. He brought a smile to my face every day when I would see him in the halls, he provided me with a fresh bucket of ice everyday. Our waiters, lead waiter Geraldo was excellent as well. He was so funny, and great about remembering my group's names and preferences. There was 9 of us total in our group.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
I felt the ship and all the areas I was in was very well maintained and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I was impressed with the size of the cabin and bathroom, and having the balcony was great!

Ports of call

Port Canaveral, Florida

5 out of 5

Nassau, Bahamas

3 out of 5
In all honesty, I was not very impressed with Nassau. It was packed, too many "in your face" people trying to sell something. It was dirty and extremely hot.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

2 out of 5
I was not impressed by Princess Cay either, some of us in my party did not have swim shoes, so walking into the water was quite painful with the rocks. The food for barely luke warm, and their were flies everywhere on the food. The bar was good, the two bites of food I ate, I was able to wash down with a very good Bahama Mama drink. Paid the same price on the ship for a much smaller size drink though.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
I felt the disembarkation process went very smoothly, especially if you were traveling with a passport.
