Review summary

You get what you pay for. This cruise was very cheap and we had a great time. First class it was not. I wish they would improve the food and charge us a little more

The food was disappointing compared to our prior cruises. Portions are smaller (4small shrimp in the shrimp cocktail appetizer for example). Guy fieris burgers being the exception. Excellent all the time.

"Clean but showing age" is something we enjoy. I prefer older ships that have earned their dings )fair wear and tear... Fantasy Class ships come to mind). Have you tried other cruise lines where you pay more, and get different food fares. Anyway, I appreciate you giving your thoughts, and the way you did it.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. I’d rather the price stay lower and I can decide if I need to pay more for more food. Glad you mostly enjoyed cruise.

I'll never understand why people expect 5 or even 4 start food/ dining in carnival or even royal Caribbean or norwegian. these are budget friendly cruise lines. you want better food, sail seabourn or cunard

Your second appetizer, entree, and dessert is still free. I always order 2 shrimp cocktails. Sometimes, I order 2 entrees and 2 desserts if I skipped lunch.
