Our cruise actually started on Jan 2 and ended on Jan 7.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
It was easy breezy getting on the boat. The lines moved relatively fast and everyone was pleasant.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Breakfast - was average. Loved the dinning room breakfast food.
Lunch - probably my favorite part of the day eating. Burgers, pizza, and tacos were great! Lines were a little long but could understand why after eating at all three places. I will say I wish the taco line moved faster. I do think having someone there to man the dropping of the dough would speed things up. OR having the employee drop the dough between guests.
My husband really enjoyed the Mongolian food on our last day on the ship.
Ice cream station was a hit! Thank you for bringing our childhood memories here!
The food in the dinning room was average. My husband really enjoyed the mussels and creme bruele. Daughter enjoyed the cheeseburgers, my oldest son really enjoyed the chocolate/vanilla dessert. While my middle enjoyed everything that was brought to the table for dinner. I, on the other hand, didn't have anything that was worth noting.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Please add another shuffle board to the ship. This was a hit with everyone and not everyone is polite with sharing this activity. Wish the fitness centered opened at 5 am instead of 7 am. Most of us like to workout early, grab a coffee and watch the sunrise. The boys enjoyed the ping pong tables.
One of the five guests enjoyed the pool and slides.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We loved the shows we were able to attend! Tribute to Michael Jackson was fantastic!
Children's Programs
4 out of 5
Youngest child was apart of Ocean Sharks and enjoyed the facility the two times she went. I will say the last time she went she was a few minutes late and they didnt let her partake in the scavenger hunt. I thought that was odd. The oldest enjoyed his activites (18). The middle (15) stayed close to us.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
I Putu and Sumiraia (deck 1 room attendant and posh dinning room) were phenomenal and treated us like family. They learned our names and what we liked and didn't like and ensured our time there was unforgettable. If there was a training program for hospitality I Putu should be the trainer. They always greeted us with a warm smile and gentle hugs. The kids really miss them and they will always be a topic of conversation in our home. I'm so glad we got pictures with them. Please ensure they are recognized for their outstanding services. I Putu always made an effort to make whatever towel animal our daughter wanted. She's now requesting that we make them at home.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Someone was always cleaning something on the boat. Job well done here!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Clean room, soft beds and pillows, clean cooler, plenty of storage. I Putu was fast in getting what we needed when we needed it. Fantastic! Wish the joing beds could have been hooked somehow together so they couldn't come apart in the middle of the night.
Ship tip
Don't overpack, bring a sweatshirt, and relax and enjoy the journey.
We loved the port and did the Mountain View and City Sights and Jose Cruuse was our tour guide. Phenomenal views and wonderful service by Jose. We will highly recommend this excursion.
The locals were very pushy but I understand why. Didn't know there was a pool inside the area, i think our daughter and sons would have enjoyed that. The local who was running the trampoline in the ocean was very rude and made kids cry. Please find someone else who has some hospitality.
We were told various things about disembarkation. We were first told to wait until your tag number was called.... come to find out, it didn't matter and we could have left when everyone else did. I think the intent was to have it organized but somewhere in the process it got messed up and everyone just needed to get off the ship.
