Review summary

While there were some not great moments, overall our cruise was great! We both enjoyed ourselves immensely and had lots of fun. There were tons of options with things to do and see that just about anyone could enjoy. The staff were great, the music acts were top notch! I'm so glad we went!

Embarkation

We took the Carnival Shuttle bus to the port, and once there everything went great. Fast lines, helpful staff, one gentleman was singing to hype everyone up, which was fun!

The Chic Restaurant

We loved having some different choices, but kind of sad the lobster wasn't included like our first cruise. I still ordered it when we went one time, though! Yum. The staff are fantastic, and the night of our anniversary, they surprised us and sang to us. It was super cute and sweet!

Freedom Restaurant

The buffet was pretty good. Some items could've been better, but luckily there were lots of choices! We went for breakfast, and usually went to the Chic room for dinner. We got to the BBQ the last day and it was delicious!

Scott's Piano Bar

We didn't make it until the last night, and the gal performing, Felicia, it was her last night. What a great performer! The rest of the music guests came to surprise her and they sang together. So sweet!

The Posh Restaurant

We went for Brunch on our Day at Sea, and the staff was great! Lots of fun choices for the brunch, too.

Pizza Pirate

The pizza was good, and the lines were always long but worth it! Hard working staff!

Guy's Burger Joint

Decent burgers, they were juicy and flavorful. Lots of sauce and topping choices, too!

The shows were so fun and full of energy! I enjoyed the 80's show the most, and loved the music video recreations.

There was always something going on, and attentive staff for drinks. The music acts were great! Trivia was fun, with lots of topic variety, too.

The shows were energetic and fun with lots of singing and dancing. I didn't go to a lot of things in here though.

Our Steward Komang was great! All the staff was super friendly and it was fun getting to know them. Larry in the main lobby was great and learned my husband's name quickly.

The layout was a little confusing because of where some of the elevators took you, but it was super clean and you could tell the staff really cared.

Lots of pretty things to look at. We had an excursion booked, but it got cancelled sadly, so we hired a guy named Sidney to drive us around so we could be in the a/c. He was super friendly and helpful, but I wish we would've gotten to stop more places (mostly our fault though for not asking).

It's a port. The line went faster than we expected! We took the Carnival Shuttle to get there.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

It was a lot hotter than we expected, but seemed like there was lots to do. We did the stingray and snorkeling excursion. The staff in there were fantastic!

Disembarkation

We had early disembarking because of when we made land, so that was rough, but only because we had to get up early! Everything went smoothly, including a staff member who grabbed my husband's keys when we forgot them.
