Review summary
Overall the staff that we ran into were excellent !!! But I would have to say this was one of the worst cruises that we’ve been on with Carnival….. I hate to agree with some of the past negative reviews. But they told the truth on this one! Nothing worse than going on a five day cruise, and having to struggle to find things to eat every day. No one wants to be hungry when their stomach can only hold 4 to 6 ounces at a time. I understand Carnival is short staff….. But that doesn’t give an excuse to give people bad food. And yes we tried different locations to find food that was edible. The only places we didn’t try was the Mongolian Wok and the Barbecue place, and the Steakhouse which I wish we had. But by then the frustration level was so high. We felt defeated!!!! I have two more cruises lined up for Carnival this year. I am really concerned if I should cancel the next two until they get back up to par.Embarkation

Freedom Restaurant
Has completely gone downhill. The only thing that I was able to really tolerate was the fruit platter and bacon. Salmon was good one night. Thank you for the Caesar salad. After weight loss surgery my intake is limited. Very disappointed that the food was cold or lukewarm at best. After I sent back my soup a couple of times I did get one hot bowl of soup that was delicious. Yes I did speak to someone thank you Roy for stepping up.
The Posh Restaurant
Like I said the food in the MDR was horrible. The only thing that tastes good was the fruit bowl,bacon and one night the salmon. Other than that thank goodness for Caesar salad! The service was excellent people wise but the food was nasty and cold as hell!
Lido Marketplace
Wow just wow waited in line like everyone else for a long period of time only to get noodles that weren’t cooked steak that was cold it was just nasty.
Pizza Pirate
My saving grace for the whole cruise trip. If it wasn’t for the pizza I would have starved. For real everything else sucked
Guy's Burger Joint
Fairly decent only went once. I knew that they would be good but I just didn’t wanna wait in line.
Seafood Shack
Very disappointed paid for seafood platter clam chowder. You could tell that it was old frozen seafood that was heated up.
Deli
Hit or miss the only thing that taste decent was the ham grill cheese sandwich.
Coffee Bar
Bacon donut was delicious, alcoholic coffee was a miss.
Centuries Bar
Great staff.
Blue Iguana Cantina
Not as good as it used to be food was cold.
Alchemy Bar
Zora made the hell out of some drinks! Everything she made was delicious.
Onboard Activities
Babylon Casino
Well loved the casino just hate the smoke. But there wasn’t much to do so hey why not give carnivals some more money.😂

OK but the bar closed early in the serenity area.
