Ports were awesome. In my opinion Costa Maya was smaller and didn’t offer to much.

All the staff was great but the best was our room steward. His name was Made and he is Indonesian. A great person and took care of us. The cruise director named TJ was also great!

The cabin was spacious and loved the balcony.

Ship tip

If planning on washing your on laundry make sure you go early or do it on port days it can be busy sometimes.

We had FTTF which allowed us to get on and off the ship earlier however, if you check your luggage you will get off later. This really made us irritated. The last time we walked off with our luggage and we were off the ship and driving home by 0830hours. With the checked luggage we didn’t get off until 10:15am. Learn from experience.

We took a taxi to a beach in Costa Maya, it was beautiful. Beach chairs were free to use but they did ask that you buy at least 1 drink (a can of soda is enough). There is a Tiki hut where you can buy food and drinks, a "water fun inflatables", and a volleyball net in the sand. They offered an all day package which included the water inflatables and all the food you can eat, I don't remember if drinks were included in that special...or if that special still exists...it was 9 years ago. There's also shopping right there at the beach.
