Review summary

Carnival was much improved. We gave up on them years ago for dirty rooms, rude cabin stewards, dirty tables in buffet. We are very happy with improvements.

Dinning room had some food that we needed to switch, second choice after prime rib and grilled chicken worked out well. Guys burgers, blue iguana, guys bbq and deli exceeded all expectations.

Hot tubs were often too cool or too hot. Not monitored. Serenity deck was often not serene, noisy cruisers and no monitoring. People kept taking our towels and pillows from clamshell on serenity. More monitoring might help. On serenity deck a lot and never saw security.

Most was ok, not great and not bad. Violin cats were great. Piano bar sing along only did requests if you tipped first., if no tipping played really badly and awful sonfgs. Goups were often scheduled and failed to play in Red Frig Pub. One group came and set up to play and left when it was time to play to go in process to the ship.

Christian in cabin was great. Francisco at our table was great. Lido staff were friendly. Nata in Blue Iguana was fun.

Size was normal, bed comfortable, very clean. AC was not cool enough.

Ship tip

Get a seat were you want to hang out on sea days early. Entertainment needs a boost by a juggler, magician or special one time show.

Nice, clean. Great snorkeling at end on pier. Offput by info kiosk saying it was not good we should buy an excursion. Snorkeling here was as good as any excursion I have done on Roatan

I agree with you 100% about the snorkeling at the end of the pier in Roatan. Been telling people for years, it's actually a great spot to snorkel. Glad you had a great cruise.

Welcome back to Carnival. They need passengers like you with positive attitudes. We have had a few bad situations on Carnival, but considered them the exception rather than the rule.
