It was too foggy and we didn't get to leave Galveston until 9:30 at night which in turn made us late for all of our stops in our return. Meaning we didn't have as much time to visit the port as we normally would have but overall it was a great vacation

This was my first cruise so I don't have a lot to compare to but I was happy with the cleanliness in the layout of the ship
Cabin / Stateroom

A lot of people say that the cabin sizes are small but I was completely happy with our cabin size the balcony was kind of small but it served its purpose the only issue I had was we didn't have a mattress topper and we had a king-size so they push two twins together and there was a cracked right down the middle that you fell into so you had to sleep on your own side of the bed
We booked an excursion through carnival this was the best port of all I don't remember the name of our excursionbut it was a view of mystic Mountain, the bobsled, the skyline, and the zip line.
It was fine but inconvenient we had to be out of our rooms by 8:30 and we couldn't leave the ship until 10:45 so we were sitting in the dining hall for 2 hours because it was too cold to go out and sit on the deck
