Good first-time cruise. Didn't see any bad issues with other cruisers; everybody was good cruisers and all I met were friendly. All the staff and crew were very friendly and accommodating. I suggest getting the Carnival Hub app on your phone as you can see the menus, what was happening and when and keep a check on your account easily. Each of us in our cabin got a statement given to us the night before.

Mongolian Wok seriously needs to have longer hours. It's only open just a few hours and the lines are ALWAYS long.

I didn't really participate in these activities with the exception of the Mini-Golf. It was just too windy; we had a 30 mpg head wind heading out and it was a little breezy on the way back too.

Ship tip
There are lots of places you can be just to yourself if you like. If you get up early, breakfast is easy to get on the Lido Deck. Also, get a watch to wear to keep on the ship's time when you go into a port. Don't be late getting back you will be jeered at. LOL
We rented a car and drove around. Visited San Gervasio ruins; there's more than what the pictures show. We also ate at a restaurant on the beach. Good food. There are NO street signs so was initially a little difficult until we got our barrings.
Did our own excursion thru Pirates of the Caribbean Zipline which included a trip to the beach. The driver told us all about Roatan and the cost of living, the politics and other very interesting info. They took us to Little French Cay instead of their usual beach as an added benefit. Highly recommend them! However, many of the excursions booked thru Carnival were cancelled and those that DID go were late getting back and delayed our departure.
Our ship had to go to the other side of the island to get off the ship as there were too many in the port we were to go to. This cause our excursion time to really be critical. We booked the Stingray City and Coral Reef snorkel thru Excursioneer ourself. Had plenty of time for it and they got us back on time.
Everybody met in the Chic Restaurant and went as usual. However, the bathrooms near there were all locked which was NOT good. Had to wait and use one in the port.
Great you had an awesome first cruise hope ur hooked as we are .. I think it was so much easier when you had your menu and billing on the TV in your cabin and you could check whenever you wanted too ...I personally do not want to carry a phone around with me so would not be bothered with any app ...
