Review summary

The cruise was very relaxing. This was my husband and I first Carnival cruise and it was wonderful. We have plans for another cruise on Jan 2019 with my husband's family.

Embarkation

Embarkation was hectic at first because it was our first time embarking in Galveston but with Faster to the Fun it was a breeze to check in and board the ship. Our room was ready once we boarding which was 15 minutes from first call.

Main dining room was wonderful. Love the rare finds each night. Breakfast buffet was good and Guy's Burgers was excellent. Steakhouse was good but not worth the price

Our room steward was good. He had ice ready in our cabin each day and kept our room well maintained

Everywhere was clean. Loved the hand washing stations around the buffet and lido deck.

Enjoyed having a balcony cabin on this cruise. Our only complaint was the balcony door was hard to close so if you didn't close all the way it would make wind noises. Also if it rained, the balcony outside will have an inch of water and nowhere for it to go so it made it hard to enjoy after a rainy day.
