Review summary

We had fun on our cruise, but the food..... it sucked. I've been on 12 Carnival cruises and I understand that buffet food is precooked, but it just sucked. My wife and the couple we sailed with all agreed.

Just back from cruise on Freedom. We chose to eat all meals in Main dining room for all meals and food was excellent. Days in port we had brunch so we ordered room service and then ate supper in main dining room.

I will not eat the buffet anymore. It's not good. There are plenty of other choices.

If you go early usualy better, go toward the end not so good. Always eat MDR B/L/D

When a ship prepares food for thousands of people, you can’t make everyone happy...My wife and I spend weeks at a time in 3rd world countries, and appreciate a broad spectrum of food... (it may not be to our liking, but appreciate it’s availability nevertheless)

I think this is the only "bad food" complaint in a while for this ship. I guess everyone has different tastes.

Yep your so right ...we don't do the buffet we have brekky and make a salad sandwich for Lunch or go the sandwich bar sometimes we have brunch then go to the MDR in the evening...we enjoy that a lot better than try to find something that's enjoyable at the buffet ...
