Review summary
From the minute our group of 8 ladies stepped foot aboard the Carnival Freedom we were immediately having a good time. We still had our carry-on bags in hand when we stepped into the Lobby Atrium and there was great dance music playing. Three of our ladies set their bags down and started dancing. We were pleased that our stateroom was available to us even before our luggage arrived. We ate lunch as soon as we boarded the ship. All in all the favorite part of the cruise for me was the food. We had coffee delivered to our room each morning. We had breakfast on the Lido Deck and also in the Posh Restaurant. Three days we ate delicious and amazing hamburgers on the Lido Deck for lunch. Every night we ate at the Posh Restaurant with absolutely amazing service and food. On looking for improvement for the Carnival, we would ask that they consider employing better singers and dancers. I was disappointed in the evening entertainment at the main theater. I was also disappointed that our commode had an unpleasant order when the lid was raised to sit down. Also there was dust on our shelves in the bathroom and by our TV. Our steward met our needs. We did have to ask for clean glasses a couple to times. But we neglected to see that you could ask for service two times a day. We thought we had to choose AM or PM and did not realize that we could have both! Yes I would definitely recommend Carnival and this ship, The Freedom, to others. For the price we paid, we certainly got our monies' worth!!!

Ship tip
We loved doing all the organized activities that were available. We loved Trivia, Bean Bag Toss, and Hole-in-One. We would have liked for more game-friendly tables to have been available in the library of a game room. We also enjoyed the lecture on keeping our bodies healthy.
